Keep an eye out for one of our assigned drivers that will be holding an Inca Roads' sign with your name on it.
We will then transfer you to your hotel from Jorge Chavez, Lima airport.
Depart from hotel for transfer to the airport.
Our Inca Roads' tranfer will be waiting for you at Cusco airport holding a sign with your name on it, he will accompany you to your hotel.
As Cusco is situated 8400 ft above sea level /3399 m.a.s.l, we advise you to take a few hours to get used to the altitude. Drinking coca tea or even eating some coca sweets should help.
Feel free to explore the city, Plaza del Armas is popular amongst locals and tourists. The restaurants are great with a variety of choices.
Pick up from hotel. After a delicious and energizing breakfast we start our city tour with Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), the Cathedral, Sacsayhuaman fortress, Kenko and Tambomachay, these are the most interesting places in Cusco and around Cusco.
This excursions is half day, after that you can feel free to explore the city by yourself.

Make our way to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Pisac Ruins is an Incan fortress on the top of a mountain from where a breathtaking view of the whole the Valley and the Urubamba river is visible.
Next, we go to Urubamba town where we will have lunch with delicious Peruvian flavors.
We then head to Ollantaytambo; the most beautiful Incan town where there is still running water via Incan aqueducts.
The Ollantaytambo fortress a symbolic place where the Incas won an important batle against the Spaniards. Ollantaytambo has many terraces and stairs to the peak of the mountain. The landcapes of the valley are incredible with high glaciers surrounding the village.
We continue to Chinchero, an Incan town home to textile tradition and see how people dye and weave wool using old inca thecniques.
Hotel pick up : Early in the morning
Head toward Ollantaytambo and a few kilometres passed it we will reach the starting point of the 82 km long Inca Trail.
The Inca Trail is the most famous trek in Peru, as it has alot of Incan remains along the way surrounded by georgeus nature, we walk around 16 kilometers until our first base camp at Yancachimpa at 10826 ft.
Wake up at: 5:30 a.m for breakfast prepared by our own chef.
We start our walk through the valley of Lulluchapampa, after that we begin our ascend to “Warmihuañusca Pass” In Quechua it means “The place where women die.” Coincidentally, the most dificult part of the trek, its stone stairs reach up through the clouds. Once at the top you can sigh out a breath of accomplishment at 13780ft./4200m.
Here you will have time for potos, before we make our way down to our next camping base called Chaquicocha.

Enjoy the view, talking with your Friends and the guide or just taking in the peaceful atmosphere before getting a good night’s rest.
We wake up first thing in the morning for an energizing breakfast.
Our trek through the high jungle forest starts. We will also go through an Incan tunnel before we arrive at Phuyupatamarca; Inca remains with aqueducts and amazing architectural work.
We continue walking to Wiñayhuayna “Young Forever” in Quechua, there we’ll eat Peruvian food, quench our thirst and take in this magical place.
The most exciting day begins early with a delicious breakfast, after that we walk for around 2 hours towards “Inty Punku” in Quechua , it means “Door of the Sun” This is the original entrance to Machu Picchu.
Here one of our guides will give you a tour answering any questions you might have.
There will be time for photos and to walk around freely.
You will meet up with your guide to make your way down to Aguas Calientes by
bus.

Time to make our way to the train station and back to Cusco
Enjoy the train ride as you might be tired from the trek but with memories for a
lifetime.
We will pick up from your hotel and accompany you to the airport as we bid our
new Friends a farewell.
